摘要: Abstract This study reports the synthesis of NaAlH 4 by ball milling NaH and Al mixture along with 3 mol % Mischmetal (Mm) nanocatalyst under hydrogen atmosphere. It is observed that intermediate phase Na 3 AlH 6 can be achieved even 1 atm at room temperature. Ball NaH + Al Mm 3 atm in excess 40 h time did not lead to formation but charging milled material 100 atm pressure 120 °C phase. Direct was pressure. possible without any catalyst high milling. However required improve sorption characteristics synthesized material. The as-prepared catalyzed also found reversibly store up 4.2 wt% hydrogen. Catalytic activity attributed defects promoted catalysts.
