摘要: Proper treatment of selections is essential in parametric feature-based design. Data exchange one the most important operators any design paradigm. In this paper we address two-dimensional (faces and surfaces) data (FBDE). We define problem formally present algorithms to it, general various cases which feature rewrites are necessary. The algorithm operates at a geometric level does not require solving persistent naming problem, required for selection support inside single CAD system. All applicable Universal Product Representation (UPR) FBDE architecture, also STEP parametrics specification.
