摘要: Background: Both phototherapy and photochemotherapy have been used in all stages of mycosis fungoides since they improve the symptoms a favourable adverse effect profile. Materials Methods: We performed an extensive search published literature using keywords like phototherapy, photochemotherapy, NBUVB, PUVA, UVA1, fungoides, Sezary syndrome, included systematic reviews, meta-analysis, national guidelines, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), prospective open label studies, retrospective case series. These were then arranged according to their levels evidence. Results: Five hundred forty three studies evaluated, which 107 fulfilled criteria for inclusion guidelines. Conclusions Recommendations: Photochemotherapy form psoralens with ultraviolet A (PUVA) is safe, effective, well tolerated first line therapy management early stage (MF), that is, IA, IB, IIA (Level evidence 1+, Grade recommendation B). The narrow-band UVB (NB-UVB) less robust 2++, B) but may be considered at least as effective PUVA treatment early-stage MF initial therapy. In patients patches thin plaques, NB-UVB should preferentially used. reserved thick plaques those who relapse after For inducing remission, sessions per week or advised till patient achieves complete remission. cases relapse, started again on monotherapy combined adjuvants methotrexate interferon 2+, Patients show good response combination treatments methotrexate, bexarotene interferon-α-2b. However, whether these combinations hold significant advantage over inconclusive. late MF, above-mentioned first-line 3, C). Currently, there no consensus regarding maintenance once remission achieved.
