摘要: An experimental study was carried out to investigate the performance of fibrous filters in transition flow regime, where fiber radius is same order magnitude as mean free path gas molecules. Filter media with diameter 0.21–0.72 μm and packing density 0.053–0.08 were used this study. The conditions achieved by reducing pressure filter test apparatus. Experiments performed range 0.1–1.0 atm using monodisperse particles 0.04–0.45-μm range. generated electrostatic classification technique. particulate penetration through corresponding drop measured at face velocities ranging from 6 19 cm/s.
