摘要: Rates of mass and heat transfer to single spheres cylinders at low Reynolds numbers are predicted from boundary-layer theory. The velocity distributions which assumed exist those derived the linearized Navier-Stokes equations by Tomotika Aoi. In case sphere Nusselt number is found be a function only Peclet group when Stokes streamline apply. Experimental data for singel fall 10 40% higher than large NPe check theory. Curves also plotted efficiency removal colloidal particles combined direct interception diffusion both cylinders.
