摘要: Phytophthora foot rot of black pepper caused by capsici is a major disease (Piper nigrum) throughout Vietnam. To understand the population structure P. capsici, large collection isolates from was studied on basis mating type, random amplified microsatellites (RAMS) and repetitive extragenic palindromic (REP) fingerprinting. Two types A1 A2 were detected in four provinces two climatic regions, with A1:A2 ratios ranging 1:3 to 1:5. In several instances found co-exist same farm or pole, suggesting potential for sexual reproduction field Vietnam although its contribution epidemics uncertain. RAMS REP DNA fingerprinting analysis 118 showed that genetically more diverse where found, overall genetic diversity low most belonging one clonal group. The implication these findings discussed. among suggests may have originated single source. There no differentiation different regions. addition group, unique RAMS/REP phenotypes also detected. Most belonged minority type. This significant implications gradual increase diversity.
