Fuel accumulation following prescribed burning in young even-aged stands of karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor)

摘要: Summary Accumulation of forest floor litter, elevated dead fuel < 25 mm diameter and live 4 was studied over a ten year period following prescribed burning in young even-aged regrowth stands karri. Patterns accumulation were compared amongst three burnt by low intensity fires that did not scorch the overstorey, one stand where overstorey fully crown scorched places completely defoliated fire. Forest litter contributed major proportion, weight, total load. The pattern similar at sites, but accumulated more slowly sites.
