摘要: An inventory was conducted in the Tres Barras county, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil (26 o 15'S latitude and 50 48'W longitude), order to develop predicting models for fuel loading Eucalyptus dunnii Pinus taeda (loblolly pine) plantations. Sampling done eucalyptus stands with 22, 34, 55, 78, 92, 103, 113 124 months, pine 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 years age, covering whole rotation In eucalyptus, age variable that provided best fits all models, except live surface fuel, predicted through understory vegetation height basal area. loblolly pine, bed depth inclusion other independent variables did not improve precision.
