摘要: Immunotoxic lesions of the diagonal band Broca (VDB) in monkeys disrupted cholinergic input to hippocampus, producing impaired learning visuospatial conditional discriminations but not simple visual discriminations. basal nucleus Meynert (NBM) deprived cortex most its input, Combined NBM + VDB resulted both types task. The impairment after ameliorated with time could be reinstated by a low dose glutamate blocking drug MK801, which, at this dose, did impair discrimination normal monkeys. projections from and may sustain function glutamatergic pyramidal cell pathways within respectively.
