摘要: Recent advancements in carbon dioxide laser technology have allowed the development of microsecond-domain pulses with a high pulse energy (up to 500 mJ), enabling precise and complete tissue vaporization while minimizing residual thermal damage its potential adverse effects on wound healing. 1 For appropriate clinical application, one should know depth after successive passes over same area, caused by different energies, how these turn compare removal afforded currently used resurfacing modalities: dermabrasion, 35% trichloroacetic acid peel, Baker-Gordon (50%) phenol peel. To evaluate immediate postoperative healing for all modalities, histologic animal study was performed. Materials Methods. A grid that delineated 16 treatment sites measuring 3×3 cm tattooed onto paravertebral area
