摘要: Objective: To directly compare the cosmetic outcome and adverse effects of dermabrasion superpulsed carbon dioxide laser for treatment perioral rhytides. Design: Subjects were randomly assigned to receive with resurfacing one side area other in a prospective, comparative clinical study. The duration follow-up by blinded observers was 4 months. Setting: University hospital-based dermatologic surgery clinic. Patients: Fifteen healthy fair-skinned volunteers moderate severe rhytides no history prior surgical procedures same anatomic area. Interventions: One half treated LX-20SP Novapulse (Luxar Corp, Bothell, Wash), using either hand engine‐driven diamond fraise or medium-grade drywall sanding screen (3M St Paul, Minn). Main Outcome Measures: Improvement rhytides, patients’ subjective reports postoperative pain, time reepithelialization, degree crusting, erythema observed both methods. Standardized scoring systems used quantify measures. Paired t tests statistical comparisons 2 Results: difference rhytide scores methods not statistically significant (P=.35) at Less crusting more rapid reepithelialization noted dermabrasion-treated skin. Postoperative longer on lasertreated Patients reported less pain treatment. Subtle differences that difficult also between Conclusions: Both are effective have unique advantages disadvantages.
