摘要: background Carbon dioxide laser skin resurfacing using either ultra pulsed lasers or scanning has evolved as an effective method of treating photo damaged skin. objective The purpose this paper is to describe appropriate pre- and post treatment regimens ensure the optimum response therapy. methods We our experiences with 30 patients treated different regimens. Patients were evaluated by physicians regards their responses recovery from therapy. Some agreed biopsy cutaneous patch testing topically applied agents. results Eighty percent achieved good excellent improvement. Sixty-five undergoing skirt developed contact dermatitis several topical agents. Patch was negative on normal for allergy, suggesting a primary irritant reaction in laser-treated skin. Post-laser hyperpigmentation erythema most noted immediate mid-term side effects resurfacing. An pretreatment regime includes retinoids, lightening agents, and, immediately pretreatment, oral anti-herpes simplex medication plus antibiotics. posttreatment regimen minimizing therapy use dilute acetic acid facial soaks. In addition, medications broad spectrum antibiotics are continued 7 days post-laser resurfacing. conclusion Laser evolving means photodamaged Carefully selected post-treatment regimens, ideally under dermatologic supervision, required obtain results.
