摘要: The involvement of central and peripheral muscarinic cholinergic receptors in the behavioral effects cholinesterase inhibitor physostigmine was evaluated by comparing ability atropine methylatropine to reverse physostigmine, agonist oxotremorine, or their quaternary analogs neostigmine oxotremorine-M. Avoidance behavior maintained under a schedule which every lever press postponed delivery electric shock for 20 s; occurred 5 s absence responding. Cumulative doses oxotremorine produced dose-related decreases response rates, increases durations rates delivery. Similar with Methylatropine completely prevented parasympathetic oxotremorine-M without having any its own. However, did not alter oxotremorine. Atropine manifestations as well even though decreased avoidance responding when given alone. These results suggest that squirrel monkeys, may function redundant manner control agonist-induced decrements avoidance. When conjunction atropine, were increased 180% levels. Response rate after administration monkeys treated reflect non-muscarinic action unmasked presence cholinomimetics.
