摘要: Previous studies suggested an association between the EGF +61 A>G polymorphism and susceptibility to gastric cancer, but results have been inconsistent. To draw a more precise risk estimation of association, we performed meta-analysis published studies. PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar Chinese Wanfang databases were systematically searched identify relevant There 7 involving 1992 cases cancer 3202 controls in this meta-analysis. Our study showed that, overall, was significantly associated with increased allele model (G vs. A: OR=1.18, 95% CI=1.00–1.39), dominant (GG + GA AA: OR=1.28, CI=1.05–1.55), homozygous OR=1.31, CI=1.06–1.63) heterozygous (GA OR=1.25, CI=1.01–1.53). The stratified analysis by ethnicity revealed significant risks Asians. This indicates that may increase especially Large-sized, well-designed different ethnic groups should be conducted confirm association.
