摘要: Abstract The effect of particle-bed breakage mechanisms on the liberation properties ores remains unclear. Surprisingly few studies have been published in this area and limitations measurement techniques previously used prevented definitive conclusions from being reached regarding whether enhances mineral relative to conventional grinding mechanisms. In study, two sulphide differing textures were comminuted various size distributions using impact a hammer mill piston–die compression unit respectively. discharge samples then characterised analyser – mineralogical characterisation system based automated scanning electron microscopy. It was found that size-by-size both valuable gangue phases independent method comminute samples, as well particle distribution final products. These effects are discussed terms how they may be exploited modelling characterising comminution circuit performance.
