摘要: Abstract Comminution tests aim to measure the comminution properties of ore samples be used in designing and sizing grinding circuit study variation within an body. In geometallurgy context this information is essential for creating a proper resource model production planning management process control resource’s exploitation before during production. Standard grindability require at least 10 kg sample, which quite lot early project stages. This paper deals with development method mapping variability very small sample amounts. The uses lab-scale jaw crusher, standard laboratory sieves tumbling mill equipped gross energy measurement device. was evaluated against rock mechanics Bond test. Within approach textural from drill cores as classification criterion. Experimental results show that approximate 220 g already provides relevant about behavior iron ores 19% fillings 91% fraction critical speed. measured then calculate equivalent energy. further predicting variations throughput given deposit process. However, high significantly enhanced degree magnetite expected improve concentrate grade after downstream treatment. content better liberability lower liberate Liberability also affected by texture classes containing low content. A methodology combines has been developed practical framework geometallurgical modeling simulation order manage technical economic early, stages mining operations.
