摘要: La Colosa, Colombia is a large gold-porphyry deposit currently undergoing feasibility studies by AngloGold Ashanti. This period of development allows the opportunity to apply innovative and emerging testing modelling methods provide predictive geometallurgical recovery model for deposit. By partnering with AMIRA P843A Geometallurgical Mapping Mine Modelling (GeMIII) research project, geological mineralogical data are analysed respect liberation methods. will allow variability in geology mineralogy key relationships recognised be included help predict recoveries gold. Many aspects gold mineralisation such as paragenesis, associations, grain size texture determined using optical microscopy, Mineral Liberation Analysis (MLA), laser ablation (LA-ICP-MS). At Colosa has been located sulfides (eg pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite), silicates, along silicate phase boundaries, among pyrite-rich intermediate argillic alteration. Further analysis also determine if ‘invisible’ present chalcopyrite. Recovery can tested after combining results tests other comminution tests). Indices developed image analytical testing. These indices correlated from company develop block recovery. The goal cost-effective, efficient analyse deposit; understand mineralogy, geology, recovery; construct model.
