摘要: Increasing attention is being paid to the potential radiation hazards infants breast-fed by mothers who have been administered various radiopharmaceuticals. In a recent letter Editor, Palmer (1979) considered particular problem of breast-feeding an infant mother received 3.7 MBq (100 μCi) 125I-labelled fibrinogen, and predicted dose commitment over 4 Gy (400 rad) infant's thyroid, had not discontinued. Whilst sharing author's desire warn problems this nature, we believe dosimetry has over-estimated for case in question.
