摘要: In order to effectively manage organizational information assets, more and organizations are beginning implement content management systems (CMS) consolidate multiple sources into a single, centralized repository. While CMS in attempts help employees easily identify quickly locate relevant documents, prior findings have suggested that many projects fail reach the expected adoption rates. The present paper proposes advanced technologies such as may pose problem of overload. Drawing upon processing theory, this develops research model examining users’ experiences interactions with relation seeking retrieval organizations. particular, centres on exploring some potential causes individuals’ perceived overload when using CMS, clarifying effects actual performance outcomes system evaluations. responds calls for empirical aimed at understanding challenges issues surrounding user CMS. Further, proposed provides conceptual basis inform future initiatives advancing designs improving implementation processes
