摘要: In the modern society, Internet provides massive amounts of heterogeneous information, hence Information overload has become an ubiquitous issue. this paper, we conduct a large scale quantitative study for articles dealing with (1) information overloading; (2) faceted search; and (3) filtering data in three major databases, namely, Web Science, ScienceDirect, IEEE Explore. These databases have presented 172 articles, which can be classified into four categories. The first category contains review survey papers related to overload. second includes that concentrate on developing theoretical frameworks reduce overloading. third improving structure or architectural software huge data. fourth provide criteria evaluate techniques. Finally, our contribution further understanding overload, gives important basis future research. Moreover, illustrate dynamic filters are more efficient
