摘要: In the present competitive organizational environment more organizations are implementing knowledge management initiatives to gain strategic advantage. One such initiative is that of electronic repositories (EKR) which often leads a rapid increase in quantity information employees must process daily, raising concerns being overloaded. This especially true for current EKRs using distributive technology, enabling customizable individual workspaces can result loose structures. paper identifies new type overload (IO), extending concept as occurring both seekers and contributors uses cognitive dissonance theory provide evidence IO change employees’ perception EKR usage. research provides first empirical has no sufficient affect on continuance intention directly, but significant negative two main success measures: Perceived usefulness satisfaction system.
