Lymphoscintigraphy in limb lymphoedema: Current methodology and interests

摘要: Abstract Lymphoscintigraphy is a physiological method for the assessment of lymphatic system. Routinely used localisation sentinel nodes, it not commonly performed to explore lymphoedema. We report practical interest lymphoscintigraphy in study limb lymphedoema from population 100 patients investigated during an 18-month period. After recalling pathophysiology lymphoedema and describing our acquisition interpretation protocol, we present analysis response questions raised by requesting physician. In experience, was useful diagnosis clinically doubtful cases, discussion oedema pathophysiology, identification component lymphovenous oedema, management The quality information provided depends on rigour overall data integration clinical data.
