Genetic variation in the ribosomal internal transcribed spacers of Aphanomyces astaci Schikora from Finland

摘要: Abstract Ribosomal Internal Transcribed Spacers (ITS) have been the most popular source of DNA data for phylogenetics and PCR detection. In this study, we investigated intraspecific intragenomic polymorphism ribosomal ITS regions crayfish plague causing pathogen Aphanomyces astaci Schikora, groups Pacifastacus I Astacus . A total 36 A. were sequenced from 18 new isolates 31 polymorphic sites analysed compared. We also compared produced in study to previously published sequences NCBI GenBank. observed a 3.2% level 23 cloned sequences. Even though was regions, Finnish could not be grouped (into either PsI or As) based on these differences.
