摘要: Abstract Arbitrary primers and the DNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique were applied to study genetic variation between different strains of crayfish plague fungus, Aphanomyces astaci. Eight among 15 tested chosen for a comparative analysis A. astaci strains. On average, each primer gave rise 5–8 bands majority was polymorphic at least some Two main groups Swedish isolates clearly discernible. One group included from indigenous species Astacus astacus one isolate As. leptodactylus originating Turkey. The other fungal both introduced North American Pacifastacus leniusculus. In this latter case it seems likely that signal has served as vector transmitted pathogen crayfish.
