摘要: Introduction Ovarian dermoid cysts (mature cystic teratomas) are a benign type of germ cell tumours and the most common ovarian neoplasms in women fertile age. The aim this study was to analyze safety laparoscopic approach cysts. Methods We performed prospective between 2006 ' 2010 including 38 mature teratomas treated either laparoscopically or by open access. All preoperative postoperative data were included an MS Access database statistically analysed with SPSS v. 17 for Windows. Results group divided into 2 subgroups according approach: (25 cases - conversions) classic (13 cases). mean age patients 40.34 years (range 19-74): 36.92 significantly higher 46.21 group. Twelve admitted as emergencies because complications (torsion rupture teratoma) (11 cases) associated acute appendicitis (one case). latter did not influence decision approach.
