摘要: Resistance to third-generation cephalosporins and other beta-lactam antibiotics is of major concern for animal human health. Knowledge the prevalence resistant bacteria in primary production an important element estimate transmission along stages food chain exposure population. The objective this study was determine cefotaxime-resistant commensal E. coli dairy beef cattle units throughout Germany. Secondarily, association between management factors presence cefotaxime resistance investigated. In total, 60 52 all over Germany were included. Cefotaxime-resistant isolated from at least one sample 70% (95% CI: 58–83%) farms keeping 85% 75–94%) cattle. 35% (161/455; 95% 31–40%) 48% (156/323; 43–54%), respectively. Most associated with indicate that less intensive results a lower number positive samples. For cattle, antimicrobial treatment whole group significantly increased proportion samples containing coli. In addition, our better hygiene could improve situation on farms.
