摘要: Abstract The study examines whether loans from microfinance institutions (MFI) reduce poverty in Bangladesh drawing upon the nationally representative household panel with four rounds 1997 to 2004. effects of general and for productive purposes on income, food consumption women's Body Mass Index are estimated. Overall MFI income were positive purpose loan is important predicting which welfare indicator improved. Alternative estimation methods confirm a impact growth, supports reducing Bangladesh.
