摘要: Melatonin has both the ability to induce intrinsic apoptosis in tumor cells while it inhibits non-tumor cells. kills through induction of reactive oxygen species generation and activation pro-apoptotic pathways. In contrast, melatonin promotes survival due its antioxidant properties inhibition primary human villous trophoblast, a known pseudo-tumorigenic tissue, Bax/Bcl-2 pathway BeWo choriocarcinoma cell line induces permeabilization mitochondrial membrane leading cellular death. These findings suggest that trophoblast is good model study differential effects on pathway. This review describes presents as novel system which these melatonin.
