摘要: Since Klement et al1 prepared the first metallic glass* there has been much interest in properties of these new materials; magnetic receiving particular attention.2–10 Glass formation binary palladium-silicon system was observed by Duwez al,11 and Chen Turnbull12 reported that small additions noble metals to Pd-Si alloys greatly enhanced glass stability. The composition Pd.775Cu.06Si.165 is a particularly stable glass, 12 recently low temperature specific heats glassy polycrystalline materials this have reported. 13,14 In note we present results our investigations on Pd.775Cu.06Si.165. purity starting materials, sample preparation, crystallization procedure duplicate used Golding al13 for their heat measurements, differ all three aspects from Haemmerle.14
