摘要: In the last years, there has been an increase of scientific studies confirming that long- and short-term exposure to particulate matter (PM) pollution leads adverse health effects. The development a methodology for determination accumulated human in urban areas is main objective current work, combining information on concentrations at different microenvironments population time–activity pattern data. A link between mesoscale meteorological dispersion model local scale air quality was developed define boundary conditions application. The derived from statistical sub-population groups linked digital city maps. Finally, hourly PM10 indoor outdoor were estimated Lisbon centre, which chosen as case-study, based application selected period. This first approach estimate exposure, calculated total daily values above thresholds recommended effects. Obtained results reveal centre large number persons are exposed PM levels exceeding legislated limit value.
