摘要: Although measurements of individual exposure remain the “gold standard” for evaluating health risks associated with air pollution, atmospheric models have become important tools understanding links between energy use, and public health. The spatial temporal coverage model data typically far exceeds that measurement data; cost simulating pollution concentrations a is low compared equipment personnel costs to operate network stations; permit analysis future projections implications quality management policy. Still, limitations remain. No perfect, limited by accuracy, meteorological input, quantification emissions. Exploiting strengths in analysis, while appropriately dealing uncertainty, poses challenges span science disciplines. Here we review past studies which been employed analyses, discuss new directions capitalize on strengths.
