摘要: Abstract Sustainable mining management is increasingly seen as an important issue in achieving a social license to operate for companies. This study describes the life cycle cost (LCC) analysis and environmental valuation several coal mine tailings scenarios. The economic feasibility of six different options was assessed using Net Present Value (NPV) Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) methods. These were belt press (OPT 1), paste 2), thickened 3), OPT 1 with technology improvement renewable energy sources 1A-C). results revealed that 1A (belt stack cell flotation) first preference terms LCC while 1C flotation 10% wind energy) generated highest benefits value compared other options. BCA components volume GHG emissions used determine best option. Normalization these three elements resulted selection Option being most cost-effective
