Pilates and aerobic training improve levels of depression, anxiety and quality of life in overweight and obese individuals

摘要: ABSTRACT Objective: To compare the effects of Pilates and walking on quality life, depression, anxiety levels. Methods: Sixty-three overweight/obese participants were randomly divided into: control (n = 20), 21), 22) groups. groups attended eight weeks 60-minute exercise sessions three times per week. Quality state- trait-anxiety levels evaluated before after training. Results: Scores improved in State-anxiety only group. Conclusion: positively impact depression anxiety. The method could be used as an alternative to improve mood disorders individuals.
