摘要: Rapid and affordable tumor molecular profiling has led to an explosion of clinical genomic data poised enhance the diagnosis, prognostication treatment cancer. A critical point now been reached at which analysis storage annotated information in unconnected silos will stall advancement precision cancer care. Information systems must be harmonized overcome multiple technical logistical barriers sharing. Against this backdrop, Global Alliance for Genomic Health (GA4GH) was established 2013 create a common framework that enables responsible, voluntary secure sharing data. This Perspective from GA4GH Clinical Working Group Cancer Task Team highlights data-aggregation challenges faced by field, suggests potential collaborative solutions describes how can catalyze data-sharing culture.
