摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there are preexisting holes in the endothelial and epithelial basal laminae alveolar walls path taken by neutrophils as they migrate from capillaries airspace alveoli during inflammation. Using transmission electron microscopy serial thin sections normal rabbit mouse lung, we have demonstrated presence slit-like capillary round type 2 pneumocytes. slits were observed at intersection thick where endothelium, pericytes, fibroblasts make close contact. cell sites contact with fibroblasts. Neutrophils through these streptococcal pneumonia lungs. We conclude that inflammation migrating displace pericytes lamina then crawl into interstitium. postulate find their way pneumocytes following interstitial believe contacts cells lateral space cells. From there, airspace.
