摘要: Nuclear power development is a controversial issue in the post-Fukushima era. Outlining effective risk communication strategies very important. This study attempts to examine determinants of information-seeking intentions context nuclear risks. Guided by models, such as information seeking and processing, this developed conceptual model explore issue. A survey residents (N = 487) near Haiyang Power Plant significantly validated hypothesized causal relations. Perceived knowledge about important predicting perceived risk, need, intentions. The need channel beliefs are significant predictors Moreover, results also suggest mediating role process. However, indirectly, rather than directly, stimulated risk. Implications further research discussed.
