摘要: Multi-terminal High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) using Source Converters (VSC-HVDC) is a promising technology which provides flexible control of active and reactive power facilitates remote renewable energy integration, above all long cables. This paper analyses an strategy for multi-terminal VSC-HVDC systems tailored to enhance transient stability hybrid AC/DC grids. The proposed controls each VSC frequency measurements terminals. Its performance compared in controlled only local the AC side, proving that shows better performance, even taking into account reasonable communication delays. also generally gives similar results those obtained when speed centre inertia (COI). COI more comprehensive richer figure than one this but it much complex obtain. Simulation with PSS/E test system have been used illustrate comparisons main contributions proposal.
