摘要: To reduce CO2 emissions produced by electricity generation, conventional fossil fuel power plants are being decommissioned. Renewable energy sources (RES) and interconnectors replacing these old but have different operating characteristics. A key concern as the displaced is reduction in system inertia. inertia will require faster control schemes to be implemented prevent frequency rate of change (ROCOF) limits from exceeded. Frequency response that can emulate inertia, often called synthetic required this necessitate need for fast controlled devices. VSCHVDC a desirable interface option levels controllability provide This paper reviews supplementary applied VSC-HVDC co-ordinated strategies applicable HVDC connected systems islanded systems.
