摘要: PURPOSE To compare the repeatability and agreement of corneal thickness measurements using central peripheral ultrasound Orbscan pachymetry to detect contact lens (CL)-induced swelling after extended wear (EW). METHODS Corneal was measured in five locations (central, superior, inferior, nasal, temporal) with 1 week before CL commenced EW. High oxygen permeability (lotrafilcon A) low (etafilcon were randomly fitted for EW right left eyes 20 subjects normal ocular health induce different amount swelling. RESULTS Poor poor found between corneas without Ultrasound coefficients (0.95, 2.1, 3.2, 3.9, 3.8%) (0.91, 1.89, 2.45, 2.66, 2.26%) higher than (0.74, 1.67, 1.29, 1.11, 1.11%) 1.47, 1.28, 1.78, 1.23%) Lotrafilcon A induced significantly less all compared etafilcon A. Peripheral differences types significant only (p < 0.05, Paired t-test re-analysis variance). CONCLUSIONS The assessment shows measure could be useful study variations
