(2009) European Journal of Cancer Care19, 118–123 Carcinosarcoma pancreas with liver metastasis combined gastrointestinal stromal tumour the stomach: is there a good prognosis complete resection? We report carcinosarcoma (GIST) stomach in 72-year-old woman who presented right upper quadrant pain, nausea and vomiting. A radical resection including pancreaticoduodenectomy, left hepatic lobe local gastric mass was performed. The head found to be grossly yellow-white, it infiltrated common bile duct duodenum; solitary. Pathologic examination showed two components separated from each other: one component conventional infiltrating pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, other sarcomatous growth pattern composed pleomorphic spindle cells. neoplasm confirmed low malignant potential GIST by histology immunohistochemistry. patient obliged hospital because abnormal bowel function; moreover, surveillance CT scans performed at 1.5 months post-operatively multiple recurrence tail pancreas. Unfortunately, died organ failure 2 post-operatively. To our knowledge, this first experience about surgical treatment stomach. surgery for metastatic even if that could resected completely did not have consequence.
