摘要: In this work, forage sorghum biomass was studied as feedstock for ethanol production by a biological conversion process comprising the steps of hydrothermal steam explosion pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis with commercial enzymes, and fermentation yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Steam conditions were optimized using response surface methodology considering temperature (180–230°C) time (2–10 min). Sugar recovery in pretreatment digestibility pretreated solid used to determine optimum conditions, i.e., 220°C 7 min. At these saccharification efficiency attained 89 % theoretical xylose prehydrolyzate accounted 35 amount present raw material. Then, simultaneous (SSF) tested at laboratory scale on fraction condition, order evaluate production. The effect enzyme dose supplementation xylanase cellulolytic cocktail increasing concentration up 18 (w/w) SSF media. Results show good performance all consistencies significant load yield final concentration. Xylanase allows content 55 g/l after 4–5 days. Based result, about 190 l could be obtained from 1 t untreated sorghum, which means transformation 85 glucose contained feedstock.
