摘要: Objective The treatment of patients with chronic arterial occlusions involving the superficial femoral artery has changed significantly incorporation subintimal angioplasty (SIA) into vascular surgery practice. To more clearly define technical feasibility, patency, and clinical outcomes SIA, we reviewed our cumulative experience. Methods A retrospective review all who underwent SIA originating in was performed. Patient history, demographics, procedural details, follow-up information were collected analyzed. Patency, limb salvage, sustained improvement claudication, freedom from surgical bypass, survival determined by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Results From December, 2002, through July, 2006, 506 infrainguinal procedures performed 472 occlusion artery. mean age treated 69.4 ± 11.9 years indication for intervention critical ischemia 63% limbs (n = 317) disabling claudication 37% 189). Forty-seven percent 237) had isolated SFA occlusions, 40% 205) femoropopliteal 13% beginning extending tibial arteries 64). Technical success achieved 87% procedures. Following successful ankle-brachial index increased 54%, 0.50 0.16 to 0.77 0.23 ( P Conclusion is an effective percutaneous technique revascularization lower extremity procedure successfully segments minimal morbidity or mortality. Rates salvage are similar those open while modest reductions primary patency experienced femorotibial occlusions.
