摘要: Abstract A comparison between the classic Plackett–Burman design (PB) ANOVA analysis and a genetic algorithm (GA) approach to identify significant factors have been carried out. This was made by applying both analyses data obtained from experimental results when optimizing chemical enzymatic hydrolysis of three lignocellulosic feedstocks (corn wheat bran, pine sawdust) PB design. Depending on kind biomass being considered, different were obtained. Interestingly, some interactions found be GA allowed factors, that otherwise, based only in analysis, would not taken into account further optimization step. Improvements fitting c.a. 80% comparing coefficient determination ( R 2 ) computed for methods.
