摘要: Surface-enhanced (surface-plasmon-polariton-mediated) magneto-optical effects are treated for superlattices consisting of alternating ultrathin ferromagnetic layers and noble-metal spacers. Within a developed self-consistent perturbative approach, reflectivity modulation, linear in magnetization, is calculated the polar Kerr effect terms spatially averaged non-local response functions layers. A combined enhancement magneto-optics predicted when both surface plasmons excited number increases.
