摘要: ABSTRACT Drying kinetics is fundamental for mathematical and modeling widely used in the project analysis of heat mass transfer during drying. In this study it was sought to assess capability adjustment nine models commonly describe seed drying process Crambe abyssinica Horts. The experimental design completely randomized, with three replications. treatments were five water contents (0.11; 0.13; 0.17; 0.25 0.28 decimal dry weight) temperatures (30; 40; 50; 60 70 oC). To determine studied a non linear regression analyses performed according Quasi-Newton method. According data obtained concluded that: diffusion approximation method model that best adjusted obtained; increases temperature promoted higher rate moisture removal from seeds; coefficient showed values 0.19 x 10-10 3.9 m2 s-1; activation energy liquid Horts about 4.97 kJ mol-1.
