Educational technology in transnational higher education in South East Asia: the cultural politics of flexible learning

摘要: This paper examines appropriateness of using educational technologies to increase the flexibility learning in tr ansnational higher education South East Asia. It considers argument that while interactive may be appropriate countries which self-directed study and student autonomy are emphasised, same uses technology not as Asian has traditionally been more tightly structured teacher-directed. government policies toward use Singapore, Malaysia Vietnam, experiences five transnational institutions these countries. The concludes educators inevitably caught up tensions between global modernising trends local traditional practices. argues it is important for recognise how their actions relate social changes students located.
