摘要: Abstract Background Left ventricular (LV) diastolic dysfunction (DD) often accompanies coronary artery disease but is difficult to assess since it involves a complex interaction between LV filling and left atrial (LA) emptying. Objective To characterize simultaneous changes in LA volumes using cardiac computed tomography (CT) group of patients with various grades DD based on echocardiography. Methods We identified 35 by echocardiography, who had also undergone CT, age-matched normal controls. were measured every 10% the RR interval, semi-automatic software. From these, – systolic, early-diastolic late-diastolic volume calculated, additional parameters derived. Conduit was defined as difference change. Results Patients significantly larger mass, volumes, reduced early emptying increased conduit percent (All p p Conclusions characterized function an alteration relative contributions components filling. In undergoing possible identify presence severity DD.
