On the absence of strong ESCA satellites in diamagnetic transition metal complexes. a study of some octahedral cyanides

摘要: Abstract The electronic structure of four octahedral transition metal cyanides is studied by the multiple scattering molecular orbital method. It found that charge relaxations at ionization from inner shells ions are small and do not give rise to any strong satellites in ESCA spectrum. suggested absence for a number other diamagnetic complexes can be similarly explained.
