摘要: Abstract North Slope crude oil spilled from the T/V Exxon Valdez in March 1989 and contaminated about 500 km of Prince William Sound shoreline. Aliphatic aromatic hydrocarbons samples collected August 1990 June 1992 beaches on six islands impacted by spill have been compared with taken stricken tanker. Degradation processes changed physical appearance this residual oil; beached as ranged a light brown color, to heavy black viscous oil, black, powder-like residue. In these physically different samples, terpane, sterane, sterane distributions, well carbon isotope values, are similar correlate original oil. On other hand, n -alkanes, isoprenoids, many polycyclic which present dramatically altered beaches.
