摘要: Abstract Crude oils from the Cook and Brent formations in same well at Gullfaks field North Sea were weathered for one year under natural conditions. Samples of collected intervals analysed by GC-MS common so-called biomarkers: steranes m/z 217, pentacyclic triterpanes 191 177. The resulting fragmentograms treated multivariate analysis. patterns differed between unweathered oils, but weathering affected them such a way that identification was impossible after 4 months. pattern different two during year, rendering these good tool demethylated particular.
